Trex donation to Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, Georgia:
Trex recently donated its durable and eco-friendly decking to the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, Georgia. The 10,000 square-foot LEED-certified Discovery Center is Georgia's first interpretive center for the Chattahoochee River - housing interactive exhibits and a high-definition theater. Sharing Trex's commitment to the environment, the Center is designed to inspire and encourage conservation. Trex provided its popular Accents collection for the construction of the Discovery Lakeside Pavilion and the Green Roof deck. The open-air pavilion provides guests with an ideal outdoor space for festivals, student programs and community rentals. An annual black-tie gala - as well as a series or private preview events for donors, media and members - was held at the facility in June. Trex a Sponsor of House Beautiful's "Kitchen of the Year"
Trex is a sponsor of House Beautiful magazine's second annual "Kitchen of the Year" in New York City's Rockefeller Center. Designer Robert Stilin
and Ina Garten (the Food Network's Barefoot Contessa) partnered to create a state-of-the-art kitchen with an additional 1,000 square-feet of outdoor

a "green" show home constructed by publisher Hanley Wood at the 2009 International Builder's Show (IBS) in Las Vegas
Located on the main exhibition floor, the LivingHome offered ideas and inspiration to thousands of show visitors -
including dealers, contractors and builders. Certified by the U.S. Green Building Counsel's Leadership in Energy and

Builder Magazine Announces 2009 Brand Leader Award
March 10, 2009 – Vancouver, Wash. – Builder magazine recently honored Trex® with its 2009 Brand Leader Award.
Trex earned a first place ranking in the following composite/PVC decking categories:

The Builder magazine 2009 Brand Use Study conducted by Readex Research, an independent research company,
surveys in-depth the brands builders know best, the ones they use the most, and the ones they rate the highest in quality.
Builder, a Hanley Wood publication, is a comprehensive information source for the home building industry.
Trex, the largest manufacturer of wood-alternative decking, railing and fencing products, also has been honored
with the Brand Leader Award in previous years.

Trex featured on DIY Network's Blog Cabin show
In 2008, Trex was prominently featured on the DIY Network’s most popular show to date, "Blog Cabin."
Throughout the season, viewers helped design the east Tennessee lakeside log cabin by casting votes on the show's Web site, while DIY's home improvement experts handled construction.
The cabin's crowning jewel was a massive wrap-around porch made of eco-friendly Trex decking and railing!
The beautiful, customized outdoor living space featured Trex Accents® in Saddle and coordinating Trex Traditional Railing in Saddle with Woodland Brown balusters.
Later awarded to a family of five from Louisiana, the home's low-maintenance deck will allow the new owners plenty of free time to enjoy their panoramic lake views.
In exchange for product donation, Trex received on-air credit and logo placement during its episode.
