We have an immediate opening for an EHS Manager at our manufacturing facility located in Fernley, Nevada. This position will manage site environmental, health and safety activities to achieve the goals of the manufacturing plan while maintaining local, state and federal compliance.

Specific duties include:

  • Develop, manage and lead Site safety programs to keep safety awareness high and ensure that all employees are aware that safety is the company’s number one priority.
  • Audit Site safety procedures and processes to maintain compliance. Ensure all required inspections are current and all documentation is accurate.
  • Manage Site industrial hygiene programs.
  • Develop, manage, and lead Site environmental activities to ensure compliance with all local, state, federal rules and regulations.
  • Maintain all environmental, health and safety records.
  • Develop, manage and lead Site Safety Committee, Emergency Response Team and Industrial Fire Brigade.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to all Site employees in the areas of environmental, health and safety policies and programs.
  • Manage and coordinate Site insurance activities with hazard and worker’s compensation insurance brokers.
  • Support environmental, health and safety activities at the corporate level including field sales and purchasing representatives.
  • Qualifications include:

  • Must have a B.S. in a Technical or related discipline.
  • 7-10 years experience with a minimum of 5 in an EHS management role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in industrial health, compliance and monitoring programs.
  • Environmental expertise, to include, air, water waste permits, testing, regulated waste disposal and compliance.
  • Experience in industrial safety, OSHA, NIOSHA, NFPA, rules, regulations and compliance.
  • Experience in industrial Emergency Response Teams and Fire Brigades.

    We are currently seeking a Logistics Manager for our manufacturing facility located in Fernley, Nevada. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the Site’s logistic and manufacturing planning operations to achieve the goals of the manufacturing plan. These include poly receiving/usage/inventory, wood sourcing/receiving/usage/inventory, production planning/scheduling, product shipping/inventory, and concentrate/packaging/additive sourcing/receiving/usage/inventory as well as coordinating the activities of all personnel responsible for accomplishing these tasks.

    Specific duties include:

  • Manage and develop systems to effectively and efficiently utilize the Site’s resources to accomplish the manufacturing plan.
  • Directly manage Site logistics and operations department budget.
  • Develop and maintain a safe work place and keep safety awareness high in shipping, raw receiving, material storage, and product inventory areas of the Site.
  • Manage and develop JDE systems to support Site operational efforts in the areas of production planning/scheduling, inventory control, product shipping and raw material receiving.
  • Qualifications include:

  • BS in Logistics or an equivalent degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in logistics in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Supervisory experience is desired as well as JD Edwards ERP systems.

    We are currently seeking a Maintenance Administrative Assistant for our manufacturing facility located in Winchester, Virginia.

    Specific duties include:

  • Provide administrative and purchasing support for the plant's Maintenance department.
  • Act as parts clerk by tracking received parts into spare parts database and tagging parts to be shelved.
  • Purchase and maintain adequate spare parts levels.
  • Manage and report on spare parts and production supply inventory.
  • Generate preventative maintenance completion reports.
  • Qualifications include:

  • Ability to learn the JD Edwards system.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must have inventory management and purchasing skills.
  • High School diploma or GED required.

    We are currently seeking a Production Manager at our manufacturing facility in Fernley, Nevada. This position will be responsible for coordinating and directing manufacturing shift supervisors and plant personnel to support manufacturing operations. The plant must provide the business units in the region with products they require in a timely fashion at consistent levels of quality and at a total cost capable of providing competitive leverage. This objective is accomplished in an environment of continuous improvement in quality and productivity with the optimal utilization of human and physical assets.

    Specific duties:

    • Supervisory responsibilities for production personnel.
    • Develop and promote self-directed work teams.
    • Implement and maintain safety programs.
    • Ensure that production meets quality requirements.
    • Control production costs.
    • Select, train and motivate a competent staff of supervisors to ensure an efficient production operation. Ensure that training and development activities address identified needs.
    • Comply in all matters of legal relevance, with national and local laws governing the manufacture and distribution of our products.
    • A hands-on, technically proficient orientation.

    Qualifications include:

    • A degree from an accredited college in Engineering (or related field) is preferred; or related experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
    • A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a related manufacturing environment.

    • A minimum of 15 years of manufacturing experience at Trex or in an equivalent manufacturing environment and a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.
    • A career path that includes major production area work, supervision of staff positions and supervisory manufacturing positions.
    • Knowledgeable in financial measures of manufacturing and company performance, including budgeting, standard costing, inventory transactions, distribution costs and the P&L and balance sheets.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Trex Company, Inc. is currently seeking a highly competent Sales Associate for our International Business. The successful candidate will execute Trex business throughout Europe as directed by the Managing Director of International Business at the U.S. headquarters.

    Primary job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Work with International Managing Director to drive sales of Trex products through the sales channel. This includes developing and implementing sales plans for Trex distribution partners, merchandising retail outlets, training and qualifying builders for the TrexPro program (contractor program), managing marketing materials, managing the marketing materials fulfillment process, presenting and participating in distributor, dealer, and contractor trainings, participating in shows and exhibits, assisting with management of local building code requirements, overseeing call center reporting and lead allocation. Position will require significant travel throughout Europe.

    Qualifications include:

    Four-year national diploma or college degree. Advanced degree is a bonus. Two-years plus field sales experience with record of outstanding results. The successful candidate lives and works currently in Europe with close proximity to a major airport. Fluency in multiple languages is a plus. Also, is experienced working for or closely with a U.S. company and possesses a demonstrated ability to execute sales strategy.

    Primary job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: customer segment business development; growing business profitably; effective financial management; primary contact with established call frequency against secondary and tertiary distributor locations; development and leveraging of strong business relationships with Select and Elite Dealers.

    Qualifications include:

    Four-year college degree preferred and a minimum of 3+ years outside sales experience. (10+ years of relevant experience plus excellent presentation and communication skills may be considered in lieu of the degree.)
