The 70s are Back. Dynomite!

The ‘70s are back! According to the interactive decorating website Houzz, today’s interior spaces are seeing a resurgence in 70s-era chrome, brass and foil wallpaper, only now with a contemporary touch. The ubiquitous brown and orange color combination gets a much-improved and updated styling. And the bold florals that were often garish have returned in subdued yet fun tones.

The Houzz article also reports that the strong curves found in conversation pits, circular rugs and curved sectionals made famous during that era are showing up again in our home spaces.

Groovy, I say.

At Trex, we’ve always loved curves, so much so that we were the first outdoor decking brand to introduce a bending solution that allows contractors to curve decking, railing, trim and fascia right at the work site in minutes, not hours. Trex® CustomCurve® Heating and Bending Solution makes it easy for deck builders to create those one-of-a-kind, showpiece decks that inspire oohs and aahs in our photo galleries at trex.com. To locate a deck builder in your area who uses our custom curve solution, visit trex.com.
