It was imperative to the owners that the materials used in this build meet the highest sustainability and design standards for a compound that sits in the midst of a radiant aspen forest. The products, colors and textures had to harmonize with the topography, geology, flora and fauna, but also had to deliver the best resistance to fire spread and weather threats. Products had to be extremely durable and resilient and require minimal maintenance given the location’s limited accessibility most of the year.
