WINCHESTER, Va., October 16, 2019 – The view from a Trex® deck has never looked better! At the upcoming 2019 Remodeling Show and DeckExpo in Louisville (Nov. 6-8), the world’s leading brand of high-performance, low-maintenance decking and railing will showcase an expanded railing selection that features today’s most sought-after looks, including glass, mesh and rod infill designs, along with new railing panels and pre-packaged railing kits engineered to make selection and installation easier than ever.
Premium Railing Designs Lend Modern Sophistication
Building on the success of its commercially inspired Trex Signature® Rod Rail, Trex has expanded the premium end of its aluminum railing line with the addition of mesh and glass rail. The new systems feature one-piece rail designs that can accommodate either 304 Stainless Steel Trex mesh infill or ¼” tempered glass panes.
“Today’s homeowners are increasingly finding inspiration for their outdoor spaces in commercial settings like upscale hotels and restaurants,” explained Leslie Adkins, vice president of marketing for Trex. “As a result, we have seen growing demand for sleek, contemporary railing styles. Our expanded selection of railing options not only reflects today’s hottest design trends but also features all of the durability and low-maintenance qualities that our customers have come to expect from Trex.”
Minimalist, sturdy and thoroughly modern, the Signature railing collections are designed to span long lengths for panoramic sightlines. Premium-grade aluminum offers superior strength, while the durable powder coating allows the material to retain its color and resist corrosion.
True to Trex’s eco-friendly legacy, the aluminum used to manufacture Signature railing is made from 50 percent recycled aluminum and is a 100 percent recyclable, renewable resource. For additional peace-of-mind, all Signature railing is backed by a 25-year Limited Warranty.
Pre-Assembled Panels Make Installation a Breeze
Driven by a commitment to “make it easy,” Trex is offering its top-selling aluminum Signature railing in pre-assembled panels for simpler and faster installation. The black horizontal panels feature square balusters and are available in 6’x36”, 6’x42”, 8’x36” and 8’x42” configurations. To further save time, Trex offers posts with premounted brackets for line, end and corner configurations for both 36” and 42” rail heights. Combine premounted posts and panels for one of the fastest installations in the industry.
“When it comes to deck building, we understand that time is money and labor constraints are an industry-wide challenge,” noted Adkins. “Field testing has shown that these pre-assembled railing panels can reduce assembly time by as much as 50 percent.”
Winning Combinations for Easy Selection
To help simplify the railing selection process, the expert design team at Trex has curated railing pairings for every shade of Trex decking. Taking things a step further, the company is now offering six of its most popular Transcend® Railing combinations in packaged kits, making it easier than ever to buy, stock and sell these sought-after railing looks in the industry.
