Trex Signature® X-Series™ Cable Railing cables and hardware are made from stainless steel, designed to work seamlessly with our powder-coated aluminum anchor posts. This durable combination resists rust, even in harsh environments. To prevent cosmetic rust, follow Trex care and cleaning guides.
When installing Trex Signature® X-Series™ Cable Railing, each cable should be tensioned to 100 lbs. using the included wrench (one per kit). Cables should be hand-tightened before final tensioning. Make sure to use a cable tension gauge for best results.
Trex’s stainless steel spring-loaded cables are designed to maintain consistent tension over time, reducing ongoing maintenance. The push-to-connect system requires no swaging or crimping, making installation quick and easy.
